CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6
We are excited about our new children's program for Sunday mornings. If you would like to volunteer to help us with the children on Sundays or Wednesday evenings, please call us at 893-5683.
Sunday morning schedule:
9:20-10:20 Kids' Own Worship: Children ages 3 and up have their own worship service in our sanctuary and learn about worshiping the Lord by participating in games and activities, by singing child-friendly worship songs, and by watching short video clips. Each week's lesson is based on a story from the Bible which is taught through the videos and activities.
Nursery is provided for children aged birth-2.
Youth Group for 7th-12th grade.
10:30-12:00 During the church hour, all children 3 and older participate in the praise and worship part of the service by waving flags in the back of the sanctuary. After praise and worship, the children go to children's church in the church classrooms. The following are the age group divisions, each having their own separate classroom:
Nursery Birth-2
Pre K/K through ages 5 or 6
Elementary grades 1 - 6
Youth remain in the church service with the adults.
